I grew up with parents who loved to cook.  My mother is Italian and made fresh pastas, sauces, cookies, cakes all the time.  My dad is from Argentina and he had a love for BBQing and meats.  I was constantly surrounded by the smells of the kitchen growing up and started cooking with my parents and Nonna at a very young age.  Now my children are making gnocchis with their Nonna and helping me cook and I love seeing them have a similar love for cooking and food.  I love that they are willing to try anything from sushi to tongue.  The house rule is you try everything or you will now know what you are missing.   That is why cook had to be part of eatcooktravel.
